Taiwan itself is a rabies-free region, so whether cats and cats immigrate to Taiwan or dogs immigrate to Taiwan, local authorities have strict quarantine regulations and procedures for cats and dogs entering the region. All pets must be vaccinated against rabies. Pets from rabies infected areas must also be at least about 10 months old when entering the country.
